Friday - 11th October
2002 |
Today I did a
bit of work to David's and my Nottingham
Gay Scene website, then it some house work, getting the place
really for David coming tonight, I am really looking forward
to it, as I have not seen him since last Tuesday. |
Monday - 14th October 2002 |
Today David and me got up at
6:30am so that we could get the 7:42am train to Liverpool, so that
we would be there in time for his first lecture.
So it’s been a lot of a long day, well at least the train
was on time, and David got to his first lecture on time. And
better then all that I am getting to spent the week with David. |
Thursday - 17th October 2002 |
Today I did some more work to
the Nottingham
Gay Scene website. We were hoping to get the website finished
a long time ago, we never find the time to sit down and get it
done. |
Friday - 18th October 2002 |
Today I have mainly been working
on my Killearn
on the Web site. I have been working on it on and off since
2000, and at long last, I feel like I am starting to get somewhere
with it.
I have also been doing more job hunting today, joining more
job search engines etc. In the last number of days I have had
some emails, and calls back about my CV, so you never know I
may get a new job soon. Well we all live in hope.
Oh and i am also looking forward to Monday because I am doing
some more work at Peatling for the first time, in god knows now
long.
In the evening David, me and his housemates', went to the local Odeon cinema
and watched Red
Dragon. It was great film, well wrone going to see. |
Sunday - 20th October 2002 |
I helped David do a meal for
his housemates, myself and his Mum and Dad. Or should I say did
the washing up, as I am not very good at cooking. It reminded
me of being back at Peatling, because of all the wishing up.
Then I helped David sort his room back out again, after his
parents where here, to put up a shelf and curtain rail and curtains.
His room feels a lot more homely now. It also means that we should
sleep better, since the room will be darker. |
Monday - 21st October 2002 |
I am very pissed off today,
as I should have been at work. But no one sorted out my rail
tickets, so I had no way of getting to Stamford. I could have
really done with the money. Oh well, at least there is one good
thing about it. I get to spend another week with my David, which
can't be bad at all.
Other then that David and me did work to the Nottingham
Gay Scene website, if you have not looked at it more in
while I would recommend that you go and have a look. |
Saturday - 26th October 2002 |
Today is the day that David,
and me have been waiting for since April. The Gareth, Will, and
Zoe concert. It is also a very important day because David and
me have also been going out for 9 months.
It was a great day but a very long one. We both got up at 6:30am
to get the 8:21am train to Newcastle. The train was on time.
When we got to Newcastle, one of my friends Alex was waiting
there, to show us how to get to the Travel
Lodge hotel, because we had no idea where the place was.
It was great to see Alex again, has I have not seen him since
2000.
We then booked into the hotel, then we all went off to get food.
We ended up going to Pizza
Hut. The food was great as always.
Then we went to Alexs' flat for a while, met up with one of
his friends that I have ever seen before.
Then David and me went back to the hotel to start, getting ready
for the concert. By this point David was starting to jump up
and down, because he can't wait to see Gareth again.
When we got to the concert we found that we were only 5 rows
from the front. It was a great concert. The sound, and lighting
was great, and so was the setup.
Over all we had a great day. I can't wait till we get the next
concert booked. |
Monday - 28th October 2002 |
What an awful day it has been.
I have just had the worst train journey in my life. If I start
to moan now, I am very sorry. I was just so pissed off by the
whole thing. It started off very bad, first the train was 45
mins late in leaving Liverpool Lime Street Station. Then when
it turned up there was way too many people to fit on a 2 DMU
train. I had to stand the whole way to Birmingham. There was
no way of getting a seat. I have never seen so many people on
one small train.
Then on the way into Birmingham New Street station, the train
sat in a tunnel for over 1/2 an hour. To make matters worse,
yes it gets worse, the train driver had to turn off the train
engine. So most of the lights went off, and the train started
to get way to hot.
I was so happy when the train started to move again, just like
everyone else on the train. Then the train got into Birmingham
I started to feel a bit, happier because I started to feel like
I was starting to get somewhere. At long last I got a seat, and
got my laptop out. Then everyone on the train was told that the
train would terminate here.
We all got off the train, then just to make things worse all
the information boards were down. So I had no way of finding
out when the next train was.
Then the next thing everyone was told to get back on the train
that we had just got off. I could not believe it, I was starting
to get, very, very mad by this point. I could not get a seat
again, so I ended up sitting on the floor.
I was so happy with the train got to Leicester, because at long
last I got to sit. I was so happy when the train got into Stamford.
The whole journey has put me off using trains. I have heard
of these things happening to other people, but had never happened
to me before.
So that was my day. All this just to get to work, to make some
money. |
Tuesday - 29th October 2002 |
Today I have been helping out
Mark. I have also been at Ian's house, helping him, and Mark put
in phone extensions. Then in the evening Mark, and me went to The
Willoughby Arms, the local pub to get some food. Then I spoke
to David on the phone for a while. Then it was off to bed. I went
to bed earlyish as I have still not fully recoved the the other
day, I still feel very tired and have been most of the day. |
Thursday - 31st October 2002 |
That's me just finished giving
Mark a hand, sorting out the website, the network and some other
stuff.
Now it's back to Liverpool again to be with my David till the
next time, I am at Stamford. Which all going to plan will be
within the next number of weeks. |
Saturday - 1st November 2002 |
Today David, me and some of
his house mates went into Liverpool City centre to meet up with
one of his old flatmates from last year.
When all went to Weatherspoons for
a meal. David had a Mixed Grill, and I had a double cheese burger,
which was very nice indeed. Then we all went for a look around
the shops. I got myself some combat's and a new t-shirt. David
got himself, a very sexy new Ben
Sherman jumper, and some funky fluorescent yellow hair gel. |
Monday - 11th November 2002 |
What a fun day it has been.
I got lots, and lots done. It's the first time that I have been
at home, in 4 weeks. Sorted out lots of things on my computer,
backed up all my website's, emails etc. Then I washed my bike,
and give it a quick service. As I don't think that I will be
using it much again this year. As it is getting to cold for me
to cycle.
Then in the evening Darren, cooked us both tea, before giving
me a lift to Little
Bytham. Because I am helping out Mark most of this week.
Then Mark and me went to the local pub for a drink. |
Thursday - 14th November 2002 |
God what a long day, it has
been I got up at 7:00am. Then helped Mark put computer's in his
car that he needs for doing a training course. Then he give me
a lift to Stamford train station. So that I could get the 7:50am
train to Liverpool Lime Street station, to spent a long weekend
with my boyfriend David.
The train journey went not too bad, for once. I did not have
to change at Birmingham New Street station, which made a nice
change. The train was still late getting into Liverpool, but
only by about 25 minutes.
When I got there my boyfriend David was waiting, it was great
to see him again. I now know that this is going to be fun weekend.
In the evening I had some fun taken photos of David wearing
some sexy very gear. He liked wearing my England Away top, don't
think that he really liked wearing my running suit. No idea why,
because he looked so hot in it. |
Friday - 15th November 2002 |
It's
been a very good today. David and me met up with one of his friends
that he has been speaking to on the net for a number of weeks.
His name is Damian, he came from Manchester by train to see us.
David cooked us both lunch, we had pasta and chicken. Then we
all went into Liverpool City centre to have a long look around
the shops. There was lots of very nice things in the shops, but
for once David and me were both good, and ended up not getting
anything.
Then like last evening, I had fun taken photos
of my David. This time I took photos of him in my sexy white
cycling top. Better still I even got him handcuffed while
wearing it.
Then after taken the photos, we had some fun!! |
Sunday - 17th November 2002 |
David and me went into
Liverpool, so that he could start to get his Christmas shopping.
It was a good day. I can't tell people what he got, because some
of them may look at this website and find out what they are getting.
Which would not be good at all. We also went to Pizza
Hut for a meal, which was very nice, as we had not been to Pizza
Hut, since we went to the concert in Newcastle.
Then
once we had finished looking around the shops we went to see
Stephen Gately turn on the Liverpool Christmas lights. It's the
first time in my whole live, I have been to see Christmas lights
turned on. We even had snow, well OK it was fake, but it was
still well cool.
I think that a great day was had by both of us. Now I just
need to start to get my Christmas shopping done. I still have
no ideas at all what to get people! If you have any ideas, then
please let me know. |
Monday - 18th November 2002 |
Today I walked from David's
house to Liverpool
University, because it was a nice day and I could do with
the walk. But the main reason, was to meet my David, then he
finished University for the day, to do some more Christmas shopping.
We had a good look around town, but in the end, we did not get
anything else, but we did come home, with some good ideas of
what else to get people. |
Monday - 25th November 2002 |
That's me back in Little
Bytham again, helping Mark get some more stuff sorted out.
Helping him sort out some more websites, that he likes doing
now, but he still can't get his head fully around some things,
to do with HTML.
Then
once I had done that, I cleaned some of the house, as I can't
stand mess. Then I walked Jimmy and Pebbles, which I have done,
in a very long time. It was nice, and the weather was not 2 bad
for it.
In the evening Mark and me went to, The
Willoughby Arms, the local pub. I had a cheese burger.
Which was very, very nice indeed.
Then after all that I did some more work to this website. At
long last I have sorted out the news
archive, if you want to have a look at it. If you do, please
can you tell me what you think of it.
And in other news it was 10 months ago today that, I first met
my boyfriend to be David. |
Tuesday - 26th November 2002 |
News just in David and me
have now been going out for 10 months. I LOVE YOU David.
In other news, I did a lot of work to my Killearn
on the Web site, I made Business Directory a lot easter
to use by sorting it out into category's. Other then that I
did not do a lot. |
Saturday - 30th November 2002 |
I
went to London, for the first time in my life. And I got to do
it all with my David. Let's start at the beginning. Darren give
us a lift from Nottingham to
Peterbough. So we could get the 9:45am GNER train
from Peterbough to London's King Cross. The train was a whole
5 mins late.
Once David and me got there we had to wait for a long time for
Carolyne because her train from Liverpool Lime Street was very
late.
Then we went a walk all around London. We went to Hyde Park,
Buckingham Gardens and so many other places, I can't remember.
I when back from London at about 7:00pm. David and Carolyne
stayed because they were going to G-A-Y to
see Gareth Gates. I would have loved to go, but I could have
not coped with having to stay up all night. I am getting to old
for that type of thing. |
Sunday - 1st December 2002 |
TODAY is World AIDS Day |
I have not done that much.
I did not get out of bed till after 11:30am. Because I was so
tired from going to London yesterday. I did speak to my David,
we had a great night a G-A-Y last night, know in a lot of ways
a wished I had gone. |
Monday - 2rd December 2002 |
I had a lot to do today, before
going to Stamford, to help out Mark again. First for all I had
to get out my bed. Well we all have to start somewhere don't
we. Once I was out of the bed, the first time that I did was
to have a bath. Then I had to do washing, as I have not done
any since last Wednesday.
Once all my clothes were washing and drying then I could start
to pack my bags. I had to pack a lot of stuff, as I will not
be back in Nottingham now
till David finishes University for the Christmas holidays.
In between doing all that I have been doing a lot of work to
my Killearn
on the Web site, which looks like, at long last I will finish
it in the next number of weeks.
Then
at 4:00pm I left home, to get the 4:12pm bus into Nottingham to
start my journey, to Stamford. At first it was all going to plan,
I got on the 4:52pm train it left died on time. It's when I got
to Leicester, from going so well, that it all started to go wrong.
At first the information boards said that the train was on time.
But then it started to become later, and later. In the end it
was over 1 hour late leaving Leicester train station. Oh well
better late, then never.
Lucky after all that Mark and me went to, The
Willoughby Arms, the local pub. We both had a 10oz Gammon
Steake. So over all it was not 2 bad, of a day. |
Tuesday - 3th December 2002 |
It's
not been a bad day. Got lots done. I first got up at 6:15am ish,
to help Mark put computer's in the car, for a training course
that he was doing. Then I went back to bed, and did not get up
till about 9:00am.
Then I did some washing up, tidied up some more of the house,
put some things in the loft, walked the dogs. Then I tried to
get some photos of trains going though Little
Bytham, on the east coast main line. I only managed to get
two photos, but I only managed to get the middle of both trains.
I got a photo both a GNER Electric
225, and Class 373/2 GNER Eurostar,
which was the main one that I was after.
After that, when I was walking back to the Mark's house, Mark
got back. So I helped him put the computers, back into the house.
Then
later in the evening, I went a walk to see where Mark, was speaking
about. He told me a good place to get photos of the trains, going
up and down the east coast main line. So I found a place to sit
down, while I waited for a train, to see what it was going to
be like for getting photos. While I was sitting outside waiting
for a train, my David phoned, and for one I could get a reception,
in Little
Bytham, when I am in Marks house, that next to never happens.
So that's been my day. |
Thursday - 5th December 2002 |
At long last the Nokia
221 T Mediamaster (Digital Terrestrial TV receiver, for
watching Freeview),
turned up, that David ordered for my Christmas. He ordered
it about 2 weeks ago, from DigitalBoxShop.
It toke so long to turn up, because there only just out, and
there is also a big waiting list for them.
When we plugged it in we were, both amazed by just how good
the TV picture was. It will be better still in January, when
more of the TV channels get switched on. We have both been having
fun watching Fame
Academy, we both think that David is well fit.
The only bad thing about Freeview,
for David, is that I will be driving him mad, watching the two
music channels on it.
Thanks David for a really, really, great Christmas prenet. |
Monday - 9th December 2002 |
Today David and me went into
Liverpool City centre, so that I could get my Mum, and Dad a
Christmas card and also get David his birthday card, trying to
get one so near to Christmas, is not very easy at all. Lucky
we manned managed one.
I also got a audio so that I can plug my Nokia
221 T Mediamaster into a Hi-Fi, so what I get to watch
things in stereo at David's house, in Liverpool. |
Thursday - 12th December 2002 |
TODAY is my boyfriend's 20th
birthday. Happy birthday David. So go to his website and sign
his guestbook.
As you may have just read, it's my boyfriend's
birthday. Today went very well indeed. But I did feel sorry
for him as he had to go into University for a lecture. He was
mint to have two but the second one of the day was canceled,
lucy for both for us, because David made me to go it. So I very
happy to find out that is was canceled.
When we both got back from University we had to pack all his
clothes, and computer stuff, as his Mum, and Dad are coming from
Nottingham, by car to get us, and all the stuff that we are taking
back to Nottingham.
David drove back, because his Dad had already drove to Liverpool,
which is a long way from Nottingham. The journey was not too
bad.
It's nice to be back in Nottingham again. |
Saturday - 14th December 2002 |
Not really done that a lot
today, because my boyfriend has been at work all day. It was
nice to have most of the day to myself, to catch up on stuff
that I have been meaning to do, for a long time.
I spent most of the day since getting up working on my Gay
Glasgow site. I re-coded all the pages on it, to make the
website easy to navigate. So in other words I updated well
over 100 pages and images.
When David got back from work, he helped me fix all the spelling
mistakes that I had made. Then we spent the evening with Darren,
as he had cooked us a really nice meal, and then all watch TV
for the rest of the night. |
Tuesday - 17th December 2002 |
In the morning I spend a while
updating my Paul
Nicholls website, for the first since September 2002. All
that I really did was to made it work with Netscape 6 and above.
Things today were going well till I got a email, saying that
my "Queer As Folk" fan site, will be deleted because
it's using to much bandwidth. If I don't pay for it, they will
delete it. So it looks like another of my websites will be going.
I would love to keep in on-line, but I just don't have the money
too. Oh well these things happen.
Well at least things got better when David got back from work.
Because he had got me a copy of SimCity 3000. I have not
played that game in a long time. I am sure that I am going to
have great fun, playing it again. |
Wednesday - 18th December 2002 |
In the morning I did some
more work to the Nottingham
Gay Scene website, I added an organisations page, and also
started working on an events calendar.
Then I cycled to my David's house, which is about 8 miles from
where I stay in Clifton. I had forgetting just now cold it is
cycling in December. It's only the second time, that I have been
a long cycle in December, the last time was this time last year,
then I cycled to Stamford, from Little
Bytham.
Then when I got back I had a quick play about with SimCity 3000,
that David got for me. I have not played SimCity since, I was
working at Alcan, over 2 years ago. |
Monday - 23th December 2002 |
Today was mainly spent mainly
my first WAP sites. I made a Killearn
on the Web and Nottingham
Gay Scene ones. It was good fun doing them. I just hope after
all my work, that people use them. So please, please, please
check them out!!
Killearn on the WAP: http://www.killearnontheweb.co.uk/wap/index.wml
Nottingham Gay Scene: http://www.david-orange.com/nottinghamgayscene/wap/index.wml |
Tuesday - 24th December 2002 |
Today I cycled into Nottingham
City centre, to get David a Christmas card. I could not believe
just how warm it was for the time of year. I put on lots of clothes,
thinking that it would be cold, but in the end I was too hot.
Once I got back I got some clothes, and other stuff packed for
spending Christmas at David's parents house. |
Wednesday - 25th December 2002 |
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
It was a very good Christmas. I spend to day at David's parents
house. They both made me feel very welcome. The only bad thing,
about today was, for the first time in my live, I was not with
my parents. At least I get to see them in the New Year when David,
and me go to Glasgow for
a number of days.
David got me a Nokia Freeview
Digital TV Set Top Box. I did not not get him anything, mainly
because he could not make up his mind what me wanted. |
