Wednesday - 2rd
April 2003 |
I have been a walk up the
Campsie Fells, to get photos looking down towards Killearn.
I had forgotten just had tiring walking can be. If you want to
see some of the photos that I took, then go to my Killearn
on the Website.
Once I got back I downloaded the photos from my camera and
had a quick look at them. Then it was off out my my bike to
get more photos from around the village.
With all the work that I have been doing on my Killearn
website, I am hoping to have it fully finished before
going back down to Liverpool next Tuesday.
Then in the evening I went a quick walk with the dog. |
Thursday - 3th April 2003 |
I
went a cycle down to Killearn House to get some photos. I have
not been down there in about 5 years. The last time I went there
was with some friends, when I was still at Balfron High School.
When I got back I sorted out the photos. Then I went a walk
with dog down the Glen. |
Friday - 4th April 2003 |
I went another walk around Killearn to
get more photos. Then I went a walk with the dog down the cow
field.
Once I got back I then sorted out the photos, ready for uploading
to my Killearn
on the Web site.
Then I went a cycle down to the caravan site. It was a good
cycle, it feels good to get out on my bike again. |
Saturday - 5th April 2003 |
My big brother Douglas and
me went into Glasgow to get my Mum a birthday card and also a
cute teddy bear. It's her birthday today, but they do not get
back from their holiday until tomorrow. I can't wait to see them
again, I have not seen them since David and me were up in Glasgow
at the New Year.
When I was in Glasgow, I at long last got my hands on a copy
of BBC's Ghostwatch. I have been wanting it for a long time but
could not find it anywhere. I did not really want to pay £19.99
for it. I would not have been happy, if I had not found another
copy cheaper elsewhere.
Then in the evening I went with the dog down the cow field again.
Oh what a fun life I have!! lol! |
Monday - 7th April 2003 |
First
some very, very sad news at. Today one of my friends dogs Jimmy
had to be put down. He will sadly be missed. In a lot of ways
I had always seen him as my dog, because we got on so well together.
I will really miss him.
On a lighter note, I met up with one of my friends that I have
known since Primary School, now that is a very very long time!!
Too long some people may say!! lol!! He came all the way from
Glasgow to Killearn to
pick me up. Then we went into Glasgow to have a look around and
to catch up. For lunch we went to the GLC Café Bar, the
food and service was great as always. I don't think that I have
been there since the year 2000!
While I was in Glasgow I got my David the new Gareth
Gates DVD. Which I can't wait to see because it will bring
back memory's, of when David and me went to Newcastle to see
the man himself.
Then when I got back from Glasgow I
started to get of all stuff sorted out, for going back down to
Liverpool tomorrow. To see my David I again. I can't wait to
see him again, as I have really missed him. |
Tuesday - 8th April 2003 |
In the morning I went a walk
with my Mum and Dad and also the family dog Ghillie down the
ford. It was a really nice walk and the weather being so great
also helped.
I have done the most walking that I have done in a long time,
I will just need to try to keep it up when I go back down to
England.
Then I helped out Dad do some gardening, I cut the back grass
and helped him move some plants from the front garden to the
back one.
Then I got all my stuff packed for getting the train down to
Liverpool Lime Street. My Dad very nicely gave me a lift to get
the train station. I was a bit early, but that's better than
being late.
I really enjoyed using the West Coast Mainline, it's only the
second time that I have used it and the first time in the day
light. I love sitting on the train and just watching the world
go by.
The journey all went to plain and only got into Liverpool Lime
Street about 5 min's late.
I got to see my David again, which I was so happy about. |
Wednesday - 9th April 2003 |
In the morning David and me
went into Liverpool City Centre for a look around the shops.
Then in the afternoon David and me went to Sefton Park were
he started to teach me how to use his inline skates. It was OK,
I am sure that I will get use to them giving time. I did not
fall over that's the main thing.
In the evening David went out into town, when he was really
to come back I walked more then half way into town, to meet up
with him, to walk him back. |
Sunday - 13th April 2003 |
In the morning David and me
did some work to the Nottingham
Gay Scene website. At long last we made a start on getting
the business directory sorted out.
In the afternoon David, me and his Mum and Dad went to Skegness
it was a good day out. It reminded me of when just David and
me went there last year. It was good fun, but it as cold there,
but then it is on the coast.
Then in the evening David and me watched a DVD.
Today really reminded me of how good things use to be, because
we started this bad patch of our relationship. I hope really
hope that we can get things fully sorted out soon. Because I
love David will all my heart. |
Monday - 14th April 2003 |
David and me went into Nottingham
City Centre. I was very happy because I got a copy of the Frame
Academy Album for £4.99 which is not bad at all. Sometimes
you have to pay more than that for a single chart CD.
Then we we to Frankie
and Bennys for a meal. It's the first that we have been
to the City Centre one in a long time.
Then we went off to see Darren for a while. Then it was back
to David's. For me to get my stuff packed for going to Mark's
later today.
When we got back, we went to The
Willoughby Arms, the local pub, for a meal. I did not have
a lot to eat because I was still full from going out with David
easier in the day. |
Tuesday - 15th April 2003 |
I have been so busy today,
you would not believe. It may not sound like a lot to you, but
I was busy all day.
I got up at about 7:30am. I did a backup of all the main files
on Marks machine and also my laptop. Then I spoke to David for
a while. Then I give the house a clean. Had a shower. Then I
cut the back grass. Made myself some food.
Then after all that I went a cycle to Castle Bytham. If the
weather stays this great, i am going to make sure that I get
out on my bike a lot this week. To try to get my self fit again.
Then in the evening Mark and me went to Lincoln, because he
had a meeting there. Then on the way back we called in at Frankie
and Bennys for a meal. |
Thursday - 17th April 2003 |
Today David give me a lift
back to Little
Bytham. I was hoping to do what I did the other day, which
was cycle to the train station, then get the train. But I could
not today, because of the rail strike, which I did not know anything
about till it was to late.
I could happy cycle from Grantham to Little
Bytham, which is only 17 miles, but I don't think that
I could cycle all the way to Little Bytham from Nottingham,
because that is over 42 miles and that would just be mad.
David could not stay from long, as he had to get back to Nottingham to
meet up with one of his friends.
I know that David and me are no longer going out. But I know
that he will always be one of my best friends. I am still hoping
that we can get things sorted out. Because I don't want to though
away the 14 months, that we had together.
In
the afternoon I went a cycle to Stamford, which there about back
is only about 15 miles. I main reason I cycled there, was to
get David a card. I found one after about 1/2 hour of looking.
Not the one that I was looking for. But it was the best that
I could find.
I don't really know what else to say, other then I am trying
my best not to have a break down, because I been though so much
in the last number of weeks. But I am sure that I will see the
light at the end of the tunnel soon. |
Friday - 18th April 2003 |
I did not get much sleep at
all last night. I just can't stop thinking about David and me.
I no, that I don't think that will we ever get back togther,
but it's just going to take me a long time to get use to it.
Today
Mark toke me to the Derby Dales, to try to cheer me up. After
me crying for about half the day is started to work. I am also
feeling a bit better because I am getting to meet David tomorrow,
as friends. I just hope that things do well and we don't end
up falling out. I don't think that I could cope with losing him
as a friend, he means to much to me.
In the evening Mark and me went to the local pub, I had food
for the first time since Tuesday night. Not good I know, but
I just can't eat when I am not feeling happy.
Other then that I updated the news
archive section, to make it easier to read. I also added The
year that was 2001. |
Saturday 19th April 2003 |
I woke up feeling a lot happy
today, because I going to Nottingham to
see David. I was hoping what we may get things sorted out. But
I now that it's never going to happen. At least we got some things
sorted, like why it went wrong in the first place. So when I
get a new boyfriend, I will know not to make the same mistakes
again.
We're still going to me friends. God how many times have I said
that in the last number of days! It will just take us both a
while to get use to just being just friends. I know that it's
going to take me a lot longer then David, to get use to it.
All going to plain I am still hoping that we get to go to Scotland,
together again, once he stops Liverpool
University for the summer. I think it would do us both the
world of good and help us to become friends.
In the evening, Mark talked me going to the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium to do some work. Why I did not do it
a long time ago, I have no idea. It will give me the money
to learn to drive and also to start paying all money that I
oh to my Mum and Dad. I will be working there again next Friday
and I am looking forward to it already.
While I was at work one my by friends Margaret,
come in to see me. I had not seen her in a very long time. It
was great to get to see her again. I also got to see her kid,
who is 12 weeks old, for the first time. |
Monday - 21st April 2003 |
In the morning I got up of
bed, which is always a good start. Had a shower and got already
for the day ahead. It has not been too bad, I only cried once,
for the past couple of days I have been crying on and off all
day.
The thing that started me off in the morning was that I put "I
Know Him So Well", by Steps, then I remembered David and
me singing that song at the top of our voices going along the
A66, on the way to Scotland. At least I am started to come to
teams with it. I would still love him back, but I know it's not
going to happen.
In the afternoon I went driving with Mark for about 1 and 1/2
hours. It was good fun and for the first time, I feel like I
am starting to learn someone. I am getting a lot better at changing
the gears. The only gear that does not like me is 3rd gear, I
can't never find the f**ing thing. I can't wait to go for a drive
again, I am starting to really enjoy it. All going to plain it
will be Tuesday night.
Then in the evening I went a cycle to Castle Bytham. Once I
got back Mark and me walking to the local pub to get food. |
Thursday - 24th April 2003 |
In the morning I went to Stamford
to meet up with someone that I have been speaking to on the Internet
for a number of days. I have made up my mind to get there and
start making new friends and who know's I may meet someone and
fall in love again. Which I really hope that I do, I love being
loved.
Later on in the day I went out for another drive with Mark.
I still having problems finding the third gear. But I am getting
better at it that's the main thing. I mainest my first hill start,
which I was well happy about. Weather I can do it again is another
story. Oh don't talk to me about the biting point. Something
else, that I can't get the hang of.
In the evening we both went to the local, pub for a quick meal.
I think that we did it in record time, we had the food and drinks
and were done in 50 minutes.
Oh I also got something set-up that I have been meaning to,
for a long time and that's telephone banking. |
Friday - 25th April 2003 |
I have not really done anything
at all, it's been a long boring day. Which I know that I have
many more the come till, I get myself a new boyfriend.
So if you know of any young cute single guys, then get them to
fill out My boyfriend
application form.
About the only good thing that happened, was that I got to speak
to David for a while. It's the first time since we broke up,
that we have found anything to really speak about. I was hoping
to go to NG1 with
him, but I had to work at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. I will just need to make sure that I am
not working the next time Poptastic,
is on in NG1.
It's the one night, that I really use to going to.
I did not really want to go to work, mainly because it's was
15 months ago that David ane me first meet. It also happened
to be a Friday. Once I had picked him up, the first place that
we got to speak was at the Greyhound
Stadium, before he drove Mark's car back to Little
Bytham, then started the best year of my life.
Work was not too bad tonight, is was just a bit to busy for
my liking. I had to show a lot more people to tables, which I
don't really like doing, because I have no idea where most of
them are. I also had to wear a white shirt and I would not say
that white in my colour at all. |
Saturday - 26th April 2003 |
I drove all the way from Little
Bytham to Peterborough, about 20 miles in total. I don't
think that I did too badly, other then having a near miss on
a round-about. It's the first time that I have done any big
round-about's and Peterborough as a lot of them, to many if
you ask me. So I don't think that I did too badly at all. Also
for the first time since starting to learn to drive, I did
not put the car into 1st gear without meaning too. So over
all I don't think that my driving to doing to badly at all.
Once we got to Peterborough, all safe and well. I had work at
the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. I could not believe, just how busy it
was tonight. A bit to busy if, you ask me, it did not stop all
night. Oh well at least it's paying for me to learn to drive. |
Tuesday - 29th April 2003 |
I have been so busy, you would
not believe. It's mainly been a very good day. The only bad was
that David's dog had to be put down. She will be very sadly missed.
I am thinking about you, David I know, how much she meant to
you.
In the morning I had my first driving lesson. I think that most
of it went well. Weather my driving instructor thinks the same
is another story. He showed me how to use the c better, I think
that I am starting to get better at it. He also showed me how
to use to gears better. So over all it was good fun. I can't
wait till next Monday, when I get to do it all over again.
Once I got back I watched some television and spoke to David
for a while on the phone. I am still really missing him. But
hey that's life and I have to get on with it. At least I just
found out a good thing about being single, when I make pasta,
I can eat the cheese with out being told off. David always use
to tell me off for doing it.
Then in the afternoon I went a cycle into Stamford. I could
not believe just now bad the head wind was. I was cycling like
mad and not really getting anywhere at all. At least the wind
helped on the way back because it was behind me for most of the
way.
In the evening I should have been working at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. But Mark was late but so I had no way
of getting there. I also spoke to David for a while on ICQ
and I am starting to feel, that we're getting better at being
friends, which can't be a bad thing. |
Wednesday - 30th April 2003 |
It was a bit of a long boring
day. No matter what I found to do, I was still bored out of my
tree. At least I got the back grass cut, I was also hoping to
get out on my bike, but it ever happened, because in the afternoon
it started to piss it down. Oh well these things happening.
In the evening Mark and me went to the The
Willoughby Arms, the local pub for a number of drinks,
which of course I only had soft drinks, because I don't drink.
The main reason we went to the local pub, is because it's the
land lords, last night.
When I got back from the pub, one of my Internet friends Bart sorted
out a photo search CGI script, that I have been trying to get
to work for a long time and he got it all to fully work for me
in about 1/2 hour. When I had been trying for weeks to get the
thing to work. The script can be found on The
Killearn on the Web site. |
Thursday - 1st May 2003 |
God I can't believe that it's
May already. This year has been flying past. In a lot of ways
I will be glad when this year is out the way. It all started
well, then went down hill very fast. At least it's now starting
to go up-hill again. Now that I am working again and also learning
to drive.
I did some more driving today. It was all going really well,
till just before I got back. I had to stop at a STOP sign, as
you do, then I could not get the car to start again. I got to
drive on the A1 for the first time. Now that was fun, I got the
car up to about 70 Mph.
When we got back from driving we went to the The
Willoughby Arms for food, why I just don't move there,
I have no idea because I am there so much. |
Saturday - 3rd May 2003 |
During the day I spend most
of the time, trying to get CGI scripts on my websites because
of some reason, they have stopped fully working and I have no
idea why. I just hope that 34sp.com get's
back to me soon. Other than that Mark and me spend about 2 hours,
sorted out network cables, there are many in the house, you would
not believe.
Then in the evening I had to go to work. I think that I am started
to get better at it. I have got washing the glasses down to an
art form. Don't worry that's not the only thing that I do. I
also have to show people to there tables. Something happened
to me while I was at work, I could not believe, I found myself
starting to look at woman, in all the wrong way's. Oh my god
I am starting to become str8? I hope not!! |
Monday - 5th May 2003 |
In the morning I had my second
driving lesson. I would say that I did a hell of a lot better
then I did last week. I still enjoying it too, which also helps.
I would say that I am getting better at roundabouts, I still
don't like them. But I am sure that I will get better at them
giving time.
In the afternoon I drove to Asda in
Grantham, to get the new David
Sneddon album. On the way there we used back roads to get
there. It was funny because I am the learner and I kn the way
to get there and Mark did not. On the way back we went down the
A1 from Grantham, to Stamford. I am starting to like to A1, I
know that I will use the road a lot once I have passed my test
for going to Scotland.
Then Mark and me walked the dog. Then once we got back I watched Casualty which
I recorded, Saturday night because I could not watch, because
I was at work. Then I cut the back grass, before Mark and me
went to the local pub to get food. |
Tuesday - 6th May 2003 |
In the morning, I had some
fun with network cables. I put a network cable from down stairs
to up-stairs, some that went I get my room fully sorted out,
so that I can access the computer down stairs and of course also
the Internet. So I had fun lifting up floorboards putting in
the network cable, then putting some back down again. Lucky it
all went to plan. I also did it so that I can use my Digital
Radio again.
In the afternoon, I went to quick cycle to Castle
Bytham. I have not done so much cycling in a long time.
In the evening Ant, Ian, Mark and myself went to the local pub
to get food. You guessed it, we went to The
Willoughby Arms. Which of course I don't mind at all, I know
that I spend a lot of time there, but then they do the best food
around. |
Wednesday - 7th May 2003 |
In the morning I spent about
1 hour, trying to work out why I could only get the BBC multiplex
and not the other two. The multiplex that I like the most is "Digital1
Network", mainly because you get Virgin
Radio. It sounds a lot better on Digital Radio, because it's
in stereo and it also tell's you the name of the song that is
all. The other multiplex you get is "NOW Peterborough" the
only station that I like on that on is "Smash
Hits"!
In the afternoon I went a cycle into Stamford and back. On the
way back the computer on my bike, which tell me how many miles
I have done and well done you have done 500 miles. I hoping to
do at least 700 by the end of the year. Which if I keep doing
the same cycling that I am doing right now, it should not be
too hard at all.
Once I got back, I got ready for going to work. Ian very nicely
give me a lift in. I think it's the first time since started
to work at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium that I have got there on time. It's the
first time, I have worked there on a Wednesday night, is was
so boring. Mainly because it was not very busy, like it is on
Friday and Saturday nights. |
Thursday - 8th May 2003 |
In the morning a cycle to Castle
Bytham. God anyone would think that I only go 2 cycles.
Well if you think that, your not too far wrong. When I am next
up in Scotland, I know that I will more then make up for it.
Well that's if the weather lets me.
In the afternoon I did not really do a lot. Other then print
out about 500 envelopes, now what a fun job that was NOT!!! I
must have been at it, for over 1 hour. Other than that I have
not really done much at all. |
Saturday - 10th May 2003 |
In the morning I did a bit
of work to the Nottingham
Gay Scene website and did more work to a website that I am
hoping to launch in the next number of weeks or so. So what this
space for more news.
Then in the afternoon I went a cycle to Morrisons in
Stamford to get food. I could not believe just now busy is was
when I got there, but then it was Saturday afternoon, after all.
Lucky when I cycled there the weather was not too bad, I got
a bit wet, but I don't mind.
Then in the evening I had work at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. It was a good night, it was nice and
busy so I did not get bored. Then after work I went out to
have a pizza with some people that I work with. I did not get
home till about 1:30am then it was str8 off to bed. |
Sunday - 11th May 2003 |
I spend most of the day helping
Mark and Ben get things sorted out for the Burnsall Duathlon,
which they are running next weekend in Burnsall in the Yorkshire
Dales. I may be going up with them next weekend, to take photos
for the website, because the idea of being outside all day and
getting wet, does not sound that nice to me.
In the afternoon I went a cycle to Castle
Bytham. When once I got back Mark, Ban and myself when
to The
Willoughby Arms to get food. |
Monday - 12th May 2003 |
In the morning I had a driving
lesson, when I say in the morning it was at 11:45am, lucky next
Monday it will go back to it's normal time at 9:30am. It did
not go so well today, as it normally does, but I think that's
because I am starting to learn new things. I also got to go on
the A1 again today.
Once I got back from my driving lesson. Mark and me went to
David's folks house in Nottingham to pick some more of my stuff
up. I got my DVD player back, which David got me for my birthday
last year and also my O'Neill wetsuit
back. It was also very nice to see David's Mum again.
On the way back we calling in at Asda in
Grantham, to get food for the week ahead. |
Wednesday - 14th May 2003 |
In the morning I did some
work more on my Killearn
on the Web site. I added a on-line calendar, I also find
a start go working out what else, I need to do to it the next
time, I am up in Killearn, which going to plan should be June
sometime.
In the evening I was working at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. It was a bit of the boring night, the
most fun thing about it was that the fire alarm went off, lucky
there was no fire. Oh and of course none of the fire man were
good looking. |
Monday - 19th May 2003 |
It's been a very good day
I got lots done. I the morning I had a driving
lesson, for 1 and half hours. It went not too badly, I was
mainly doing 3-point turns and going around corners back ways,
I have problems going that going forward, never mind back words.
Once I got back from my driving lesson, I went a walk with Pebbles.
Then I make myself some food, while I was waiting for my food
to cook, I did more work to my Killearn
website. Then I tried to get the phone line to work in my
room. At first it was all going to plan, till I could not work
out which phone line to fix at the other end, they are so many
phone cables going all over the place, you would not believe.
Once I had done all that I went out on my bike, for the first
time, in over a week. I went a cycle to Castle
Bytham and back again.
In the evening I phoned Barry, I had not spoken to him in over
2 years. It was great to start to catch up with him again. I
will need to phone him again, very soon, to catch up some more.
Then Mark, Ant and me went to The
Willoughby Arms to get food. |
Friday - 23rd May 2003 |
It's not been too bad of a
day. In the morning I did some work done to the activEVENTS
website. It was not me, who come up the the layout of the
website. I mainly just sort out things list the mailing list
and the CGI scripts on it.
In the afternoon I went out a walk with Pebbles the dog. The
not long after I got back I went a cycle to Castle
Bytham and back again. Since it had not long ago stopped
raining when I went out, so I got coved in mad. Oh well it just
added to the fun of it all.
Then in the evening I was working at Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. It was not very busy at all, it was
more like a Tuesday or Wednesday night, then I Friday night.
So it was a bit boring, but at least it was a good night for
tips. |
Saturday - 24th My 2003 |
Today was OK, other then I
did not get much sleep at all last night, because I woke up at
about 4:00am with a very bad head ace. Which I ended up having
up and off all day.
I went to work in the evening, which I did not really want to
do, but lucky I started to feel a bit better as the night went
on. It was a busy night, so lucky I did not get bored like on
Friday night. They had also fixed the coke machines, that died
the other night, so we did not have to keep on running to other
bar to get coke etc.
After work I drove back from Peterborough to Little
Bytham. I don't think that I did too badly at all. I am
getting a lot better at going around round-a-bouts. It was
also the first time that I have driven at night. I only had
one near miss and that was with a parked car, lucky I did not
hit it.
When I got back home I went str8 to bed, in case I started to
feel unwell again. |
Tuesday - 27th May 2003 |
It's been a very good day.
So let's start at the beginning. I have spend a lot time driving.
First I went to Oakham so that Mark could pay some of my money
into this Bank account, then he will move to via the Internet
to my Bank account. I can't pay it str8 into my account, with
only having a Scottish bank account.
Then
we went to Uppingham so that he could pick something up, that
he got from ebay UK a while back, then we went to to Rutland
Water to walk the dog for a while, then it was back to Little
Bytham. The drive was at least 50 miles in total, the most
that I have done in one time so far.
When we got back from Rutland Water, I went a cycle to Castle
Bytham and back again.
Then in the evening I drove to Peterborough so that Mark could
pick something up from a friends house. I did not drive back,
because we had to get back fast ish, to make it to The
Willoughby Arms to get food. It was a bit of a sad night,
because it's Neil the landlord last night. I just hope that the
new one does the same good job, as he did.
Once we got back from the pub. I made a start on opening up
a new bank account, so that when I get paid, I can put the money
str8 into it. |
Friday - 30th May 2003 |
I had a great day. In the
morning I did lots more to the garden. It looks a lot better,
but it still needs a lot more work done to it. I am sure that
one day I will have it fully sorted out. But god knows when.
In the afternoon I went a cycle to Stamford and back. It's not
a bad cycle, it's just over 12 miles in total. I today I did
the cycle in record time, well my record time anyway. I did it
in just over 54 minutes, so that had me very happy .
The only bad thing about today, was having to work in the evening
at Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. It was not that busy lucky. It was a bit
hot there for my liking, other then that it was not 2 bad at
all.
On the way back home we called in at Domino's to
get a large pizza and garlic bread. So the evening was not so
bad after all. |
Saturday - 31th May 2003 |
In the morning I cut the back
grass. It's the second time in just over 1 week. I like cutting
the cut, it means that I get to walk up and down for a while,
the fun of it all.
In the afternoon Mark, Ben and myself went to The Fox and Hounds
Inn, in Castle
Bytham to get food. It's the first time that I have been
there and the food was really nice. I know that I will be going
there again. Once I got back I went a cycle to Stamford and back
again for the second day in a row. I happy because this month
I have done 100.7 miles going by my cycling computer.
In the evening I was working at Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. I would say that it was the most busy
night, since I started working there. It much have been busy
because I ended up taking some drinks down to tables, which
I hate doing. At least the night went by very, very fast! |
Sunday - 1st June 2003 |
I so happy because I got the
computer on by bike over 600 miles, meaning that I am well on
target to get to over 700 miles by the end of September. It was
hoping to hit 600 because the end of May, but got day last is
not too bad at all.
So today I went two cycles one to Stamford (12 miles) and the
also one to Castle Bytham (5.5 miles).
Then in the evening Mark, Ben and me went to The
Willoughby Arms to get food. |
Tuesday - 3rd June 2003 |
Today
Ant and me spent about half the day in the back garden, burning
garden rubbish. The fire that we had going was great, the garden
now looks the best that it was done, in god knows now long.
Once I had finshed doing stuff in the back gadren I went a walk
with Pebbles. Once I had done that I went a cycle to Stamford
and back again. |
Wednesday - 4th June 2003 |
When I got up in the morning
I was not 2 happy, because I looked outside and it was pissing
it down. But lucky by the afternoon things started to get better.
I phoned my Barry to see how things are getting on with him.
Two books that I ordered about my village Killearn that I turned
up. I ordered them from Stenlake
Publishing I will be using that again, I was very happy with
there service.
Then in the afternoon I went a dog with Pebbles. Once I got
back I went a quick cycle to Castle
Bytham and back again.
Then in the evening I was working at Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. It was a bit of a boring night. It was
not very busy at all. The only time that I was really busy
was at the start of the night, when I had to show people to
tables, then at the end of the night when I have to put everything
in the dish washer. |
Thursday - 5th June 2003 |
Today I had a bit of a lie
in mainly because I was not feeling 2 well last night, when I
woke up I was not feeling that much better. Lucky by the afternoon
I started to feel about 80% better.
In the afternoon I did not really do much other then do more
in the back garden and also walk the dog Pebbles.
In the evening we had a power cut, the power went off at about
5:45pm. It would have not been so bad, but one half of the village
still had power. I was pissed off 2 because I was trying to speak
to a very cute guy on the Internet. At least the half of the
village that had power included the local pub. So Mark and myself
could go and get food. While I was at the pub I also booked a
room for my Mum and Dad coming down later this month.
When we got back from the pub our half of the village still
had no power, so we could not really do much at all, other then
take the dog of a walk.
Lucky I have a UPS in the house so I used it to power speakers
plugged into my laptop, so that I could lessen to some David
Sneddon and of course do some more work this and some other of
my website's. |
Friday - 6th June 2003 |
Today I went a drive to Asda in
Grantham, it's the first time since I started to learn to drive,
that I have been on roads when they are very busy. The A1 when
it's busy is great fun!!! NOT!!! I don't think that I did 2 badly.
Then like every Friday nowadays I was working at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. It never stopped all night, which was
good, because it felt like a short night, because I did not
have any time to get bored. |
Saturday - 7th June 2003 |
I spend most of the day moving theBythams website
to 34sp.com.
Lucky it all went to plan, with doing it all before for my Killearn
website, I had a very good idea of what I needed to do, to
get it all up and working.
In the morning I also did more work to my room. Mark helped
me move my desk into the room. All that I need to do now, is
to the get the door put back on and it will be about 90% finished.
Then late afternoon I went a cycle to Castle
Bytham and back again. All going well, I will have my bike
computer over the 700 miles mark, by the end of the week.
Then you guessed it in the evening I was working at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. The best thing about tonight, and that
it's pay night. The best thing is that when I put the money
in the bank, I will be out of the red, for the first time this
year. I plan in keeping it that way. |
Monday - 9th June 2003 |
In
the morning I had a driving lesson for one hour. It want not
2 badly at all. Well I think so, that's the main thing. Once
I got back I went a walk with Pebbles.
Then I went out a very quick cycle to the near The
Willoughby Arms, to get some more photos of trains going
up and down the east coast main line. I got one of the best
photos, that I have taken so far, of a Class 373/2 GNER train,
in the GNER livery.
Once I got back from doing that I went a cycle to Stamford and
back. |
Thursday - 12th June 2003 |
Today I had a bit for a long
lie in. I did not get up till after 12:00pm, yes very bad of
me I know, but I feel all the better for it.
Once I got out of bed, I had a quick shower, then I went out
a walk with Pebbles, once I got back I watched some TV, while
sorting out bank statements.
Then after in the afternoon I went a cycle to Stamford to pick
up a Argos catalog and also to get my Dad a Father's day card.
It was not 2 bad of a cycle there and back. I have now done over
685 miles going by my cycle computer.
In the evening Ant, Mark and me went to The
Willoughby Arms to get food. |
Friday - 13th June 2003 |
It's been a very busy day
it all started at 7:00am when I got up. Just like every other
day of the week, the first thing that I do is to have a shower.
Then after that things are nothing like a normal "Gordon
Day".
At 7:30am ish I went a cycle to Castle
Bytham and back again. Yes maybe it's only a small cycle,
but I am normally in bed till well after 9:30am.
Then after that I went to Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium to help them more the Restaurant for
one place to anther place. It was great fun, but very hard
work at the same time. It toke Ste, James and me from 9:30am
till 4:30pm to get it all done. I love working with them, they
always have something very funny to say.
So we spend most of the day, washing all the gasses, getting
the new bar fully sorted out, working out where to put all the
drinks and grasses. And lots of other stuff 2, so much I can't
remember half of it. Lucky we got it all done, because it had
to be done, before 7:00pm, when the Restaurant opened.
I did not get back home till after 5:15pm, did a quick change,
then walked the dog. Then it was back off to the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium to do my normal hours from 6:00pm to 11:00pm.
Luckily it was not 2 bad of a day at all, but I was really glad
to get to bed. |
Saturday - 14th June 2003 |
I had another lie into today,
I really needing it with doing so many hours the other day. I
can't wait till I can't paid next Saturday, I will have so much
money I will have no idea what to do with it. lol.
In the afternoon I walked the dog, watched some TV, before going
a cycle into Stamford. While I was in Stamford I get the Busted
album from Woolworths.
I am so happy going by my bike computer, I have now done over
700 miles. I think that I will go the whole way, I aim to get
it to over 1000 miles by the end of the year.
Then in the evening I was working at Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. Oh my god what a night it was, it was
the busiest night that they have ever had in the restaurant.
I am so glad that I am off next Saturday night, because it's
going to be busyer again still.
Then after work me and some people that I work with went to
a Pizza place, to get, yes you guessed it Pizza. So the night
was no so bad after all then . |
Wednesday - 18th June 2003 |
In the morning I did more
stuff to my room and around the house, to get fully ready for
my folks coming down for the weekend tomorrow. I am really looking
forward to seeing them. I have not seen them since I was up in
Glasgow in April.
Then in the afternoon Matthew come around for a while. Yes you
will not have heard that name before. I have been speaking to
him on the Internet for a while. I got speaking to him via gaydar,
which is funny because I hate that website. But it can't be so
bad after all. I could have spend all night speaking to Matthew,
but I had to go to work :(.
Work was very busy again, I did not finish till about 12:00am. |
Thursday - 19th June 2003 |
I have been looking forward
to this day for, since my Dad send my a email to tell me when
they are coming down. It was a great day in more that one way.
In the morning I did one last clean of the house ready for my
Mum and Dad getting here. Anyone would think that they are the
Royal Family lol. But my Mum and Dad know that I am a very clean
person and can't stand mess.
In the afternoon Matthew come around again. See I told you that
you would be hearing a lot more of that name. We both watched Neighbours together.
I can tell that we're going to get on great. He could not stay
for 2 long, because he was going to some local woods for a run.
But he got to see me again a lot sooner, then maybe he was hoping
to, because I cycled down to where he went his run. I think that
he was VERY happy to see me, it give us both time to have a long
chat. I can tell that we're both going to be great friends.
When I got back to home, my Mum and Dad had ready got there.
I was very pleased to see them. I had a good chat with them before,
we went to The
Willoughby Arms to check in. Once they had checked in, we
went a nice walk around the village.
Then after that Mark, my Mum and Dad, oh and of course me had
food at The
Willoughby Arms.
So that was my day. A very long one, but a very good one 2 . |
Friday - 20th June 2003 |
I spend most of the day in
Stamford with my Mum and Dad. I find it funny I have been down
here since 2001, but they know there way around Stamford better
then I do.
While I was in Stamford I got my hair cut. I did not really
want to, but you know what Mum's are like, when they want you
to do something. It's the first since I moved to the Stamford
area that I have had my hair cut down here. They did a very good
job of it, so I think that I will be using them more often.
Once I got my hair cut, we went a nice walk from Stamford to
a very nice village called Easton on the Hill. While we doing
the walk I found a great place in Stamford to look at all the
really cute guys, Stamford Meadows. I think that I will need
to cycle there a lot now .
In the evening I was working at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. Lucky it was not as busy as it is most
Friday nights. My Mum and Dad also come with me. They had a
meal in the Raceview Restaurant. They hope had a great nights,
they had never done anything like it before.
Oh and everyone that I work with on the bar now knows that I
am gay now. So it means that I can have more fun and be myself
a lot more. |
Saturday - 21st June 2003 |
In the morning I went a walk
from Little
Bytham to the next village called Careby. Once we got back
from the walk I did a quick change then we went to Lincoln.
It's only the second time that I have been there. I went the
last name what that Mum and Dad were down in March last year.
I love the place, it's very nice. It also as lots and lots of
well fit guys there 2. Mmmmm. Other then see looking at all the
guys, we also had a nice look around the shops and also went
to the Castle.
All the way back from Lincoln we called in at Bourne woods,
to go a nice walk. It's only the second time that I have been
there. I went with my Mum and Dad the first time that they come
down.
Then we went to Clipsham Yew Tree Avenue, which is just outside
of Castle
Bytham.
Then after all that I went to The
Willoughby Arms for a meal with my Mum and Dad. It's been
a great weekend. I have really enjoyed having them done for
the weekend. I can't wait till July when I will be going up
to Scotland for a week. |
Sunday - 22rd June 2003 |
In the morning I had a bit
of a lie in. It was only till about 10:00am, but I felt all the
better for it. Because for the last number of days I have been
getting up at 8:30am and been doing the most walking that I have
been doing in a long time.
Then in the morning Matthew come around for a number of hours,
before he had to go to work. We had fun just speaking about anything
and everything. We also had fun waching bits of DVDs and listening
to CDs and MP3s. Matthew also did something which was so sweet,
when he was in the town the other day he got me the new James
Bond DVD. So thanks Matthew that really, really made my day.
Once Matthew had gone to work I went a cycle to Castle
Bytham. I have lots of cycling to catch up with, because
when my Mum and Dad were down, I did not have the time to go
out on my bike.
Then I played about the Internet for a while, because going
the second cycle of the day. I went a cycle in to Stamford to
see Matthew at work. I think that me cycling to see him, made
his day. I did get very wet cycling there, but I don't really
mind cycling in the rain.
Once I got back from Stamford. Mark and me went to The
Willoughby Arms to have food. |
Wednesday - 25th June 2003 |
I had another long lie in.
I really should start to set my album clock, so that I start
to get up before 10:0am. At least then I would not feel like
that I have wasted so much of the day.
In the afternoon I went a cycle to Stamford and back. I have
now done over 800 miles going by my computer on my bike. So only
200 miles to go till, I hit the 1000 mile mark, then I will be
well happy.
Not long after I got back from being out on my bike Matthew
come around. I really like it when Matthew comes around. He is
a great guy and he really makes me feel good about myself. We
can speak about everything and anything for hours at a time.
The only bad thing about Matthew coming around is that I know
that we will have to go home at some point.
I know that there is one question, that you all really want
to know. And that is are Matthew and me going out. All that I
can see is that you will have to keep reading this page, to find
out, what and if anything happens .
Then in the evening yes I was working at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. Lucky it was busyer then last nite.
So I did not get so boring, as I did last night. Oh and hello
to everything that I work with at the Stadium, because I know
that a lot of you, now look at this website. To anymore who
as just found this website, yes I am a queer.
When I got back home, the power was off. The second time, in
a number of weeks. At least having no power, give me a reason,
to do this and not be up all hours of the night. |
Thursday - 26th June 2003 |
In the morning I did some
work to the Nottingham
Gay Scene website and I also cut the back grass. I hate the
way that it grows so fast this time of year, but at least it
gives me something else to do.
In the afternoon I went a cycle to Stamford and back again.
Once I got back I made myself look nice for Matthew coming around.
Matthew come around not long after 6:30pm. We sit up in my room
listening to music and watched Eastenders, I can't remember when
I last get to see it. It was more like a comedy show tonight,
then a soap. Then we both went to The
Willoughby Arms with Mark to get food. Matthew only get two
pints when he was there, but I think it started to make him get
a bit pissed. lol .
Once we got back from the pub we just lied on the bed in each
others arms and listening to a DAB
Digital Radio station called Life,
which mainly plays love type music 24/7.
It was a great evening. I know that I had a great night and
I hope that Matthew did 2. |
Friday - 27th June 2003 |
Today
I went a cycle to Morkery Woods, which are just the other side
of Castle
Bytham, near to the A1. It's only the second time that I
have done the cycle. When I get there who do, I meet other then
the one and only Matthew. Anyone would think that he is starting
to follow me . Not
that I mind at all. When I was cycling back, I was very happy
indeed. Because I bet my top speed of 36 mph. I have now got
my top speed up to 37.9 mph.
Then in the evening I was working at Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. |
Saturday - 28th June 2003 |
I had a nice long lie in again
today, I did not get up till about 11:30am, the only thing that
wake me up, was the dog baking at the post man. To think that
Mark wanted me to get up at 3:30am to go to Peterborough to help
with a aquathlon. I am so glad that I did not go.
In the afternoon I went a walk with Pebbles. I did not go that
far, because I was out in shorts and t-shirt. It find it a lot
colder today, then it has been in a long time.
Once I got back from walking the dog. I put soon warmer clothes
on and went a cycle to Morkery Woods for the second day in a
row. I like cycling there, because when I get there, I get to
do a lot of, off road cycling.
Then in the evening I was working at dog track. It was a nice
and busy Saturday nite, but lucky everything went to plain. And
for once a member of staff, did not piss me off 2 much. I am
not going to say his name, but the other people that I work with
on the bar will, know who I am speaking again.
While I was at work I also got a box of Quality Street for fixing
a computer. So now I can go home and eat them all. mmmmm. |
Sunday - 29th June 2003 |
In the morning I give The
Gay Glasgow website a quick update. I had not done anything
to the website since March. Yes bad boy! I know all about it.
I think that I may be starting to drive the neighbours mad,
with my Dolby Prologic Surround system. Well it would be surround
sound, if I got the back speakers sorted out for it. Once I get
them sorted out, then I can have great fun watching all my James
Bond's again on DVD .
Once I had done with having loud music on. I went a cycle into Morrisons in
Stamford to see Matthew for a while. I think that it really made
his day, since he had not seen me since Friday. Have no no idea
why this happen's but the place is very quit, till I get there.
Then the whole of Stamford goes to get petrol.
Once I got from Morrisons Mark,
Ben (ahhh) and myself went to The
Willoughby Arms to get food. Why does Ben always have to
speak about boring things like WORK all the time?
Then I speak to Matthew on-line for a while, before going to
bed. |
