Saturday - 1st October 2005 |
Rob and
me got up at about 12:30pm. We then both had showers. Then once
out of the shower. I played about some more with my new Nokia
3220 mobile phone. While Rob chatted
to some of his friends on Kagoul.com.
Yes I know, website plug. I am still working hard, to get lots
of new people to join it.
Then
I cooked Rob and
me lunch. Then after lunch, Rob and
me setup the Hogwarts Express Train Set, in my room. That he
and his family got me for my 26th Birthday, which was on Thursday.
Just incase you did not know .
It's so nice and goes so fast. Yes I know I am just a big kid,
I can't help it! While I was playing with it, he took more photos
of me.
Then after we had put the train set away, it was time to get
ready for work. It was a bit of crap night at all work really.
Nothing went right at all, really. It was very, very busy, they
were also sort staffed, which did not help. The night was so
bad, I did not get done till 11:45pm. When I am normally done
by 11:15pm on a Saturday night.
I was so glad when work was over and I was back at home, with
my boyfriend Rob.
Once home, I played about on the net and did some work to the
WAP version of my Wetsuitlads website. I added some wetsuitlads
wallpapers, to the WAP version. So if your bored of your current
mobile phone wallpaper, then check it out, at www.wetsuitlads.co.uk/wap/.
Once we had both done playing about on the net, we both went
to bed at about 2:30am. |
Monday - 3rd October 2005 |
I did not get out of bed till
just gone 1:00pm. Yes very bad, I know. But for some reason,
when Rob has been very for the weekend, I am always very tired
by the time it comes to Monday. I will let you think about why .
Once got of bed, I had a nice hot shower, to waken myself up.
Then I checked my email and played about on the Internet for
a while. Before taken Pebbles out for a nice walk.
I got back just in time to watch Neighbours.
It was so, so good today. Since I bet that most of you are not Neighbours fans,
I will not bore you, by telling you what happened. Then I watched Doctors on BBC1.
Which was also very good indeed. Then I cooked myself some lunch
and had it while watching Diagnosis
Murder. Then I spend a good while giving the house a much
indeed clean.
Then I really just spend the rest of the afternoon playing about
on the net. And doing some work to my mainly websites. Including
this one. I am sorry, that I have not been doing a very good
job of keeping it updated. But I will try my best, to keep on
top of it this month and keep it fully updated. If you believe
that, you will believe anything .
Then just after 7:00pm. I phoned up the nice people at egg to
renew my car insurance. I did not see the point of phoning around
to get other quotes. Since I did not think that anyone, could
beat £435.75. Which I think was very good, since last year
it cost me £707.70. So in just one year, I have made a
saving of £272. Which is good, for me and my Dad. Since
it will mean, that I have a bit more money, to pay him back,
the money, I owe him, when I got my car.
Then I phoned up my Dad, to thank him for the £450, that
he leant me, to pay for the car insurance. Then I spend the rest
of the evening watching TV, chatting to my boyfriend Rob.
And doing even more to this and some of my other websites. |
Thursday - 6th October 2005 |
I can't believe it, I have now
owned my car for one year. It's feels like only the other day that
I got it. God only knows, how, I got by before I got it. |
Thursday - 13th October
2005 |
I am so happy today. Because
I have done a record 2,000 miles on my bike this year. Which is
414 more miles then I did last year. So next year, I need to try
and aim to do 3,000 miles in one year. |
Saturday - 15th October
2005 |
Today
at long last my straitjacket that I ordered over 1 month ago turned
up. I have always wanted to try one out. They are so much fun. Once
Rob put me in it, there was no way at all, I could get back out
of it. So I guess you will be wanted to know why I have it. Well
I will mainly been using it for my Wetsuitlads website. If you want
to see some photos of me in it, then click here. |
Saturday
- 22nd October 2005 |
Rb and
me have now been going out for 1 year and 8 months. It does not
feel that long at all. Just to think that in only 4 months, we
will have been going our for 2 years. So we will both have to soon
start planning what we're going do to for it. |
Saturday - 29th October
2005 |
Rob and
me spend the day up in York. I will be writing this up soon. Till
then check out my page
15 and page
16 on my photo, for photos, from the day. |
Monday - 31st October
2005 |
I got up at about 11:30am.
Then like every morning, or whatever time I get up of bed. I
had a shower. Then I checked my email. Most of which was crap
as always. Then I did a bit of work to theBythams
website. I found our that the guestbook was not working.
So I fixed it. Don't think it's been working since July 2005,
since no one as signed it since then. Oh maybe just no one, looks
at it. So that could be another reason, why it's not been signed
since then .
Then I played about on the net, added more photos to
this website. Then I watched Neighbours on BBC1.
Then I drove into Stamford to pay last weeks pay into the my
bank account. Then once down their. I drove to Morrisons to
do my weekly food shop. I spend just under £15 pounds.
Which it was I try to spend max on my weekly food.
Once home back to Little
Bytham. I cooked myself some lunch and eat it, while catching
up with the news on BBC
News 24. Then after that I went out into the bank garden
and cut the grass a much needed cut. By now it should not really
be growing that much. This October has been very warm. It was
not feel like the late day in October. By now it should be
started to get cold.
Then after I was done in the back garden. I played about on
the net, while listen to Franz Ferdinand's "You Could Have
It So Much Better" album.
Then at about 4:45pm. I took Pebbles my dog out for a nice walk.
We both just got back in time, before it got dark. I do really
hate this time of year. Since it gets dark so early at night.
The sooner that winter is over for another year the better.
Then I watched some of Sky Three. Which is a new channel that
started on Freeview tonight.
The first program on it was ok, but nothing great. So I can't
see myself watching Sky Three that often. Then at 7pm, I turned
my Freeview box
over to More4,
to watch Grand
Design. Tonight's program was in Argyll, near to Glasgow.
It was about them building a Oak framed house. Click here,
to read more about it.
Then I spend the rest of evening watching TV and listening to
the radio. I also chatted to my boyfriend Rob for
a while on MSN. I also give my Mum and Dad a ring. And chatted
to them about what they have been up to. And my day in York with Rob on
Saturday.
Then I listen to the while of the Chris
Moyles radio show, using the BBC
Radio Player. Since it was 3 hours long, I did not get
to bed till about 3:00am. |
Monday - 7th November
2005 |
I did not waken up till about
1:20pm. Yes bad I know, I could not help it. Once out of bed,
I had a shower. I was showed and dressed just in time to have
breakfast cereal, while watching Neighbours on BBC1.
Then after that, I drove into Stamford. To pay last weeks wages,
into my back account. Then I drive to Morrisons to
do my weekly food shop. While there, I was put lots of paper
in there recycling bins. I also went to the Morrisons petrol
station to full my car up with fuel. I was happy to see, that
the price of petrol, as come down a bit since I last went. Last
time I went to was 93.9p. This time it was 89.9p. So it's better
then it was. Just hope that is comes down even more. As it still
cost me £36.27, to fill my whole tank up.
Once back home. I put all my shopping away. Then checked that
my money had gone into my bank OK. By using my banks, on-line
banking system. Then I took Pebbles my dog out for a nice walk.
When out with her, I could tell it's November as it's starting
to get very cold. So lucky I had dressed up in warm clothes.
Then once back, I cooked myself some late lunch. Then I went
on-line for a while and ordered myself a new wetsuit. Incase
your thinking what do I need a wetsuit for! While of course it's
for my Wetsuitlads
website. As I am getting bored of using the same wetsuits
all the time. So all going well, I will have it later this week.
Then at about 6:30pm. I put all my nice warm cycling gear on
and went for a cycle in the dark. By warm cycling gear, I mean,
cycling tights with
cycling shorts over the top of them. Then for my top half, a base
layer t-shirt, with a long sleeve jersey over the top. Then to
keep my head warm, I put on a my full
face helmet
on. The cycle I did was 12 miles. I was so nice and warm even
in the cold wind.
I got back from my cycling just in time to watch EastEnders
on BBC1.
I stopped watching it for a long time. It's got very good again.
So I can't miss them. Then after that, Rob and
me spend a good hour or so, sorting out going to Scotland during
Christmas. It took us so long, because I am going up by train
on the 22nd December. Then Rob is
flying up on the 27th Dec, so he can spend Christmas with his
family. Then we're both getting the train back down together
on the 3rd January 2006.
When I booked the train tickets. I was so happy as it only cost
me £39 in total. So in other words just £13 to get
to Glasgow from Peterbough. And people say that train cost a
lot!
Then after all that. I chatted to Rob for
some more. Then I went off-line, to watch some stuff on TV. Before
going to bed at about 2:00am. |
Tuesday - 22rd November
2005 |
Rob and
me have now been going out for 1 year and 9 months. So just got
3 months, then it will be 2 years. If someone has any good ideas
what we could do for our 2 years. Then please contact
me. Oh and just one more thing before I go. I love you, Rob. |
Thursday - 8th December 2005 |
I got out of bed just before
1:00pm. Then run down stairs and jumped into a nice hot shower.
Which I really needed since the house was so cold. Then I got
dressed and went out into the back garden to bring in wood for
the fire. Then I had fun lighting the fire. It's not my favourite
job in the world. Because you get very dirty indeed while going
it. But who cares about a bit of dirt, if it's going to warm up
the whole house.
Then after that I checked my email, mainly all junk as normal.
I did get a number of good ones. Mainly about my websites, and
the normal ones from Google
News Alerts. If you have never used Google News Alerts, then
to give it a go.
Then I played about on the Internet, then before long. It was
time to watch Neighbours and Doctors on BBC1.
Then after that I took Pebbles a nice walk to Jimmy's Stile and
back. She really liked it. It's the first longish walk, that she's
been for a while. But I was glad when I was back in the house.
Since it's so, so cold outside.
Once back in the house. I give Pebbles some nice clean water
for she to drink. Then I made a start on cooking myself lunch.
While I was waiting for the oven to heat up. I of course played
about on the Internet some more. Once the oven was really I cooked
my food. Then I give my room a bit of clean out. Since my Rob,
is over for the weekend.
Then I played about on the Internet and watched some TV. Then
at about 7:00pm. I put all my nice and warm cycling gear on and
went for a cycle. Yes very mad I know. With it being dark and
very cold outside. I had to go out a cycle as I wanted to beat
the 12.9 miles that I did in December, of last year. The cycle
I did was only 8 miles. When it very cold, doing 8 miles feels
like a lot. Then I got back home and checked how many miles I
had done. I was well happy, since I now done more miles this December
then, December of last year.
Then I spend the most of the evening watching TV. I watched Little
Britain, The
Worst Week of my Life and EastEnders.
I also chatted to my boyfriend Rob for a good number of hours. I also played Doom II. Yes the very
old, DOS game. If you ask me, even after all these years, it's
till a great game.
P. S. Sorry that I have not been updating my news pages in a
while. I will try my best to make sure that I am good at keeping
it updated this month. |
Saturday - 17th December 2005 |
I
was very happy when the post came. As I my Shimano
M180 cycling shoes that I ordered from Chain
Reaction Cycles only yesterday (Friday). They cost me £59.99,
full price they would be £79.95, so I made a saving of 25%.
Then I got them out the box it take me a while, to work out how
to open the bit where the yellow clips to get them on. I even
looked at the manual. Yes they have a manual. I don't think that
I have ever had shoes before that have come with a manual.
Now I have them, I just have to think what pedals I am going
to get for them.
Other then getting my new cycling shoes, it was a normally Saturday
really. I of course chatted to my boyfriend
Rob. And showed him my new shores, using my webcam. He thinks
they look nice. He can't wait to see me in them. And before you
start, to worry Rob and me don't have a thing about shoes.
Then in the evening I was of course working at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. I had a very busy night indeed. Anyone
would think it's getting near to Christmas .
They sold 113 bottles of wine coming to £1252.25. Which
meant a very busy night for me, since I am the one who looks after
the wine. If you ask me, it's better being busy. Then having nothing
at all to do. It makes the night go so much faster.
Once I got back from work I chatted to my boyfriend
Rob for a while. Before going off-line to watched Casualty,
that I had recorded while I was at work. It was of course very
good indeed. As it normally is.
Then after that I tuned off my PC and laptop for the night and
went to bed at about 2:00am. |
Sunday - 18th December 2005 |
Mark and me spend most of the
day cleaning up the living room and moving furniture around. All
so we could put up the Christmas decorations.
The decorations were up in the loft, so getting them down was
hard work. Since the ladders are at Mark's work. So he had to
climb on chairs and also me to get into the loft.
Then in the evening we both went to The Willoughby Arms. The
food was very nice indeed. I had not been since my Mum and Dad
were down in June of this year. Once back from having food. I
of course chatted to my boyfriend
Rob and told him what I had been up to all day. And he of
course told me about his weekend, one of his mates Becky was over
at his for the weekend. |
Monday - 19th December 2005 |
First some news gay rights
news. Some of the first 'Gay weddings' in the UK took place today.
The first one was in the Northern Ireland. To find out more read
the following on the BBC
News website, http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/4540226.stm.
Today was really just a normal Monday for me. I went into Stamford,
to pay money into my bank account. Then I also had to go to Lloyds
TSB to pay a cheque into Mark's bank account for him. Then
from there, I went to Clinton
Cards, to get my Mum and Dad and of course my sexy boyfriend
Rob Christmas cards. Then I drove to Morrisons,
to do my weekly food shopping. Well OK, this time it was only,
really a half weeks shopping, since I am going to Glasgow on Thursday. So I did not, need to get so much food.
Once back from Stamford. I had some food. Then walked the dog.
Then spend the rest of the day and evening watching TV and chatting
to my boyfriend
Rob. I also phoned home to see how my Mum and Dad are going.
And to double check who is going to meet me at the train station
on Thursday.
That was my Monday really. |
Tuesday - 20th December 2005 |
I got up at about 10:45am.
Which was very good indeed for me, I even got out of bed before
my alarm went off, at 11:00am.
I was looking at the GNER
website to check that my train times have not changed at all.
I was very funny when I looked at the MobileOffice section of their website. Has it says that I should be getting
a train with Wi-Fi on it. I just hope it's right. I have always
wanted to try out Wi-Fi on a GNER train to see what it's like. If it's right, I will be using the
Internet on the train on the way on. And how knows, I may even
do live updates while on the train.
In the evening I was of course working at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium. It was a bit of a weird night. The place
was full. But for some reason it was a boring evening. People
were not drinking that much. They also did not pay much wine at
all. They only sold 36 bottles coming to £452.10. I am not
really that busy in less they sell more then 50. Of course doing
the wine is not the only thing that I do at work, but it's one
of the main things I do.
So I was glad when work was over for the evening and I was on
the way home. One the way home, I called in at Tesco to get some
food. What people did before shops could open 24 hours, I have
no idea at all.
Once back home, I chatted to my boyfriend
Rob for a while. Before going off-line to watch Holby
City that I recorded while I was at work. I went to bed at
around 2:00am. |
Wednesday - 21st December 2005 |
I did not get up till about
2:30pm. Which normally is not so bad, but it was bad really a
good idea today. Since I have so much to to, today. Since I am
going up to Glasgow by train tomorrow to see my family. I have been really looking
forward to it, for months. It's the first time that I have been
up to Glasgow since last Christmas. When my boyfriend and me went up.
So once I was out of bed. I had a shower, checked my email. Then
I made a start on getting packed. I mainly just sorted out some
computer stuff to take. Since when I am up in Glasgow,
all going well, I will be putting a bigger hard drive in my laptop.
So I need all the cds to reinstall it. I made up my mind to leave
sorting out my clothes to take, since most of it was in the washing
machine, so I could not really do it. Till I got back from work.
Once I had done all the packing I could do, till after work.
I had some lunch. Then played about on the Internet for a while
before it was time to go to work. |
Thursday - 22rd December 2005 |
My day started at 9:15am. I
had a shower. Then I did one last check to make sure that I have
everything for going to Glasgow.
But I of course know, no matter how much I check. When I get to Glasgow,
I will of course find something that I have forgotten. But as
long as I have my train tickets, laptop, clothes to wear then
that's the main thing.
Once I had done that, I looked at the GNER
website, hoping that I was still getting a Wi-Fi train. But
of course it was just my luck and it had changed. So no Internet
for me today, on the train. At least I was still going to get
a Mallard train. Since all of GNER 255 electric trains have now been upgraded.
Then I just had to wait for a couple of minutes for Alex and
Mark to get ready. We set off from the house just after 10:15am.
We then went via Seaton where Alex works to drop him off. But
of course since it's Mark he did not remember something and that
was the keys for the office. But lucky the people who own the
office, life just next door and they had spare keys.
Once in the office Mark have a quick cup of tea and checked his
email. Then he very nicely drove me to Peterborough train station.
I just there with about 3 minutes to get my train. Which was good,
since I did not have to wait about in the cold for too long.
Once Mark said goodbye to me. I got on the 11:46am train, which
was on-time. Well it would be with it being GNER.
Then I found my seat. Which was seat 41, in coach B next to the
window. I then seat down next to this very nice old woman (81).
Who had gotten on the train at London King's Cross. Oh and yes
the 81 bit is her age. I remember that, but for the life of me,
I can't remember her name. We both chatted about where I work, Glasgow,
where she been on holiday. And so many other things. It was great
chatting to her and it also passed lots of time, till we got to
York. Where she got off the train. We of course wished each other
a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, before she got off the
train.
Then just after the train left York, I got my laptop out. I put
my train music on. I call it my train music, because for some
reason when I am a train, I always listen to the same music. Just
incase you wanted to know it's Darren Hayes, with his self titled
album. David Sneddon with Seven Years - Ten Weeks. And Delta Goodrem
with Mistaken Identity. While listen to music, I also took the
time to give this section of my website a much needed update.
Which I did all the way till the train got to Glasgow just after 4:20pm. |
Friday - 23rd December 2005 |
I got up at about 10:30am.
I would have liked far longer in bed. But my Mum and Dad woke
up me because they wanted me to go out and get some last minute
Christmas, with them and my big brother Douglas.
Once out of bed it was nice. As I good to try out my parents
new shower room. When I say new, they have had it for a number
of months, it's the first time that I have used it. Since I have
not been up since December last year. The room feels like your
in a five star hotel, it's so nice. Before they changed it, it
was two rooms, both with yellow sink, toilet and yellow bath.
Which was not very nice at all. It's the first time it had been
changed since the house was build in the 70's.
Once I was done in the shower. I of course had to check my email.
I can't go for even a day, without checking it. Of course, most
of it was crap, like normal. Then after that Douglas, Mum, Dad
and me set off to the Loch Lomond Outlet Shopping Centre, in Alexandria.
We went their to try to get me some new jeans, but the only ones
they had, was 32" waist. Which was way too big. Since I am
only a 30" waist. Going to the Loch Lomond Outlet Shopping
Centre, was not a full waste of time. As Douglas got something's
that he was after.
Once we were done in Loch Lomond Outlet Shopping Centre. Dad
drove us all to the Loch
Lomond Shores shopping centre, which in just down the road
in Balloch. It's only the second or third time I have been here.
It's very nice, it's on the banks of Loch Lomond. So you great
some great views of the Loch. While at Lomond
Shores, we called in at Jenners,
who luckily had the jeans that I was looking for. They did cost
£55, I think it was. They are Levi's 501, so they will last a long time. They are the jeans
that I normally wear. But I will have to wait, two days till I
get to wear them. Since my Mum and Dad have got them as my Christmas
present.
Once done at Lomond
Shores, we called in a Fish and Chip shop. We all had a bag
of chips each. We eat them while walking around a bit of Balloch
castle country park. Then we all got back in my Dads car and drove
back to Killearn.
They I had a quick drink. Then Mum, Douglas and me went to the
new Asda in Bearsden. There as been a Asda their for year. A while ago, then knocked down the old one. And
build a new bigger and far nicely one. We were there for at least
one hour, if not longer. I had fun looking around, since I had
never been to it before.
Once back home I cooked myself some dinner. Then chatted to my
Mum and Dad and me wee brother Craig. I also watched some TV.
I watches some of EastEnders,
but I feel asleep while watching it. So I have not idea what really
happed in it. I also watched The
Worst Week of My Life, it was so funny. I can' wait to see
what happens in next weeks program.
Then not long after that. I said good night to my Mum and Dad.
Then I typed this up. And also chatted to my great boyfriend
Rob. Who I am really missing and I can't wait see see him,
when he fly's up on the 27th Dec. |
Sunday - 25th December 2005 |
I will be writing this up in
full soon. But till I do. Here, is a quick list of the great things
that I got for Christmas. I some jeans, sexy black underwear,
lots of sweets of course. I also got a iPod
Nano the 2GB Black from my Mum and Dad. I had no idea at all
that I was getting it. I have been wanting a MP3 player for a
while. I am so happy that, I now have one. I am sure, I will use
it all the time, when cycling, walking and driving my car. |
Tuesday - 27th December 2005 |
Dad and me went to Glasgow
Airport to pick up my boyfriend
Rob. |
Wednesday - 28th December 2005 |
Rob and me spend most of the day in Glasgow.
I will write this up in full soon.
Notes...
My Mum and Dad give us a lift to Crow Road, in the West
End of Glasgow. We then said good bye to them. And then walked
to the Partick subway station. We got the subway to Buchanan Street. Then headed straight
into the Buchanan
Galleries.
In the evening we watched a great film called Fantastic Four.
That Rob got today while in Glasgow. I had never heard of it till
today. It was very good indeed. I also loved all the tight stuff
they had one. I really do hope that they make a second film.
While in Glasgow we also went to a model shop called D &
F Models Bell Street.
The

café/bar. |
Thursday - 29th December 2005 |
Rob and me got out of bed at
about normal time. Then we both had showers. Once done in the
shower. My Mum and Dad said they were going into Stirling and
asked if we wanted to go or not. We both of course said yes. Since
it better then staying at home in Killearn and getting bored.
We got ready. Then Rob and me got into the back of the car. With
Mum and Dad in the front. It took about 45 minutes or so to get
to Stirling. Once we arrived. It was very, very cold when we got
out of the car. So I think we were both happy, that we had good
jackets in the boot of my Dads car.
We then we all walked to the City Centre, which took about 10
minutes We then split up with my Mum and Dad. We went looking
in the shops, in The
Thistles Shopping Centre. While there we also called in at Marks and Spencer.
To get some sandwiches. Yes I we went there, just the other day
while in Glasgow. But they do great sandwiches. You can't bet
them if you ask me.
We then had a look around shops including HMV and Virgin Megastore
shops. Once we had done looking around the shops. I phoned my
Dad to find out where to meet them in Stirling, to get a lift
back home with them.
Once back in Killearn.
We then spend the rest of the evening on the laptops again. Before
going to bed at about 2:00am. |
Friday - 30th December 2005 |
We both woke up at about 9:00am,
when my alarm went off. When we looked outside it had been showing.
So I decided not to bother going to Edinburgh. Which we had been
hoping to do. As Rob as never been to Edinburgh before. Not that
he's been missing much, Glasgow is far better. lol. .
We both went back to sleep.
When then wake up at about 12:00pm. Our normal time, as Rob so
well put it on his website. We both had showers. Then started
to use our laptops. While we were doing that Craig my wee brother,
said he was going into Glasgow. So I asked him, if he could give
us both a lift into Glasgow. He said yes. Oh what a nice young
man he is. He much get it from me .
He dropped us off on Byres Road, in the West End, of Glasgow.
We then got on the subway at Hillhead and stayed on it, till we got to Buchanan Street.
We then did the very short walk to Queen Street train station.
Were we then paid for our train tickets to Edinburgh. Costing
£8.20 each for a cheap day return.
We then got the 1:30pm service to Edinburgh
Waverley station. The train was very cold. So we both had
to keep our jackets on. To keep nice and warm. The train got us
into Edinburgh just after 2:30pm.

We started in Edinburgh. Till we got the 6:45pm train back to
Glasgow Queen Street. We go back to Glasgow at about 8:00pm. The
train should have gotten back to Glasgow at 7:45pm. But it was
15 minutes late. Oh well. These things happen. In lots of ways
it was good. Since we did not have so much time to kill in Glasgow.
While we waited the get the bus back to Killearn.
Even with the train being late, we still had a bit of time to
kill. So we had to Borders the book shop on Buchanan Street to kill a bit of
time. Before we got the 8:30pm bus back to Killearn.
I do really hate getting the bus between Glasgow and Killearn.
As it takes 1 hour, to do just 16 miles. Which is the same time
the train took to get from Glasgow to Edinburgh. Which is about
50 miles.
We got back to my house, just in time. To watch As Time Goes
By on BBC
1. Which was the second part of a Christmas. We then spend
the rest of the evening playing about on our laptops. Before going
to bed at about 2:00am.

We got on the train, which is a good thing since we don't have
to wait in the cold, we got to Edinburgh in about an hour and
then Gordon looked around the station, telling me that it is very
big. We then walked onto the long street of Edinburgh's New Town
and walked along it, looking at the shops which is only on the
right side of the street. We of course went into Marks and Spencer
to get sandwiches again, I think we are starting to get a thing
about their sandwiches!!! We then stood, eating the sandwiches,
and then continued along the street again, having a good long
look at the shops, in Virgin Megastore I wanted to get a DVD but
the queue was so long and Gordon said we will come back for it
so we left and looked at more shops and then Gordon went looking
for a shop, we found it not long after, a model shop where of
course we looked at the Hornby trains. After we got done there,
we went back to the long street and got on a long bridge over
to the Old Town, which I don't really find very interesting, we
didn't really go into any shops apart the gifts shop and to get
a drink. We went back to the New Town and again went into Marks
and Spencer for more sandwiches since we were hungry, then I got
my DVD of White Noise at last, for £5.99 which is a great price.
We got back to Edinburgh Waverley Station where we caught a train
at 6:45pm to Glasgow Queen Street. |
