 Today Mike and me. Had fun putting up the new blinds and curtains in my new bedroom, that we got from Ikea on Sunday. Well OK, Maybe it was not really that fun. It took a lot longer, that we had planned. When watching DIY TV programmes, they make it look so easy. Well got them up in the end. So that's the main thing. |
| Thursday - 4th October 2007 |
Today I did something I have, never done before in my whole life. And that was to go up in a hot air balloon. It was great fun. I loved every minute of it. Well once, I was use to it anyway. If you have never been up in a hot air and get the chance. I really recommend that you go for it. Now I just need, to get Mike to go up with me on day. Today I got a Minoura E-RDA 850 Trainer With Remote, for my bike. If you have no idea, what it is. Well I will just tell you. It's a stationary bicycle trainer for training when weather or other factors keep you from riding outside. So in other works, I can keep fit and not have to go outside in cold and wet weather. I have been after one for a while. So was not too sure, which one to go for. But after reading many reviews on-line. I made up my mind, to go with the Minoura E-RDA 850 Trainer. Mainly because it's a rim driven system. So it's does not touch the tire at all. So you don't need to worry about wearing out the tire. If you want to see some photos of my using it. Then check out pages 17 to 19, of my best webcam images. Oh and in other news. I was told at work tonight. That from Saturday night. I am being made the Restaurant bar supervisor. Which really did make my night. So means from Saturday night, I get better pay! |

Then of course in the evening. I was working at the dog track. Were I am still trying to get use to being a bar supervisor. Then after work, I stayed the night at my boyfriend house, in Peterborough. It was great seeing him again. As I had not seen him, since last Wednesday. |

Happy birthday to my boyfriend Mike who turned 24 today. In other news, Mike also started working at the dog track tonight. On top of this day job at Marks & Spencer. It's going to take me, a while to get use to him, working at the same place as me. Since I a m the bar supervisor, in the restaurant. It means that, in an around about way, I am his boss. |
