First of all, I would like to say big hello to someone called Richard. Who sent me a email, asking if I am OK. Since I have not updated my blog, since 27th November 2008. So yes Richard, I am still a live and kicking.

So now on to what, I have been doing today. Well it's been a bit of boring day really. The main thing, that I have done, is to take the dog out nice walk. Also had bits of my desktop PC in bits, to take out some of it memory. Since Windows XP Pro has been blue screening like, there is no tomorrow. Most times, I would just login and get The Blue Screen of Death. So far I think it's done the trick. Since I took out the 512 MB memory card, it's not done it once. Touch wood. At some point, I will put it back in and see if Windows starts to blue screen again. At least then if it does, then I know it's the 512 memory card, that is on it's way out.

Other than that, I have just been watching stuff on TV, listening to the radio and spending way, to much time on Facebook.

The main thing that I did today, was to join the Scottish Youth Hostels Association. So that's another job of the list, that Mike and myself need to do, before doing the John O’Groats to Lands End cycle in August.

Church of St Medard and St Gildard, Little BythamI did not do anything that I normally get done on a Monday. Because of all the snow, that we have been having in the UK. I normally would have gone into Stamford to do my weekly food shopping and other stuff. But I did not really want to go driving all in snow. So I just stayed at home. But I did get to take lots of good photos, which can be found on my flickr profile.

Other then that, I just watched stuff on Freeview, walked the dog, I think she loved the snow. Not very often she gets to see it! Then in the evening I did 8 miles on my indoor cycle trainer, which I did while live on my webcam.

Today Mike and myself went down to Cambridge, for the first time this year to see our friends Jaco and Namir. It was great getting to see them again. While there we went to Pizza Hut in Cambridge for a meal. The food was great, but the same could not be said about the service.

Route from Little Bytham to PlymouthToday I had to get up at 6:00am, which was bit of killer for me. Since my body is not use to it. Why did I have to get out at 6:00am I hear you ask. It's because I was helping to teach a first aid course, in Plymouth, Devon. Which is like 280 miles (5 hour drive) from my village of Little Bytham. So course getting at 12:00pm. The drive there was a bit of a killer, to say the least. Lucky I had Nick, the one I was doing the first aid course with, in the car with me, to keep me awake. And also the satnav, to tell me how to get there.

It was nice getting to see bits of Devon again. Even though it was only from the car window. I had not been to that area of the country since I was like about maybe 10, if not younger. Even went we got to Plymouth, I did not really get to see much. I only really got the see the inside of the building where, we were doing the the first aid course. Before, it was back in the car, for the long drive back home.

I was so glad when the 10 hours of driving was behind me and I was back home.

The main thing that Mike and myself did was to go and see Mesh-29 play live in the City Centre of Peterborough. It was a very good gig indeed, just wish more people at turned up to watch. But I guess the weather did not help at all, it was so COLD! Then after the gig Mike and myself went to HMV, on Cathedral Square to get them to sign there new single, which come out on Monday. And of course, also to thank them for putting on a good show. So hello to Adam and Anthony from Mesh-29, if you read this.

Oh and yes we did film the gig, but not too sure when the videos will be on-line, since we filmed it with two cameras, so it's going to take a while to get them edited. Once we have edited them and uploaded them to YouTube, I will let you all know.

Today I got a email from someone called Robert, saying that my website has been blocked by the Essex County Council, because they say it's contains pornography. Which I think is very weird indeed, to say the least. Since I know for a fact that this website does not contain that sort of stuff. So you if live in Essex and can't access to this website from your local library, then you know why! In this email he did say that someone complained, about him looking at this website. So I guess the person who complained, is anti-gay or maybe even the Essex County Council is. So I am going to try to ring them up, sometime next week and see what they have to say.

The most interesting thing to happen to me today, was that I got my name in Peterborough's local newspaper The Evening Telegraph. Read the full thing at www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/news/Fans-rally-to-the-Broadway39s.5053762.jp.
Friday - 13th March 2009
First I was in The Evening Telegraph and now I am going to on the BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, this Monday at around 8:10am. If you can't get BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, in your area don't worry I will try my best to record it and put in on my next podcast.

I got a new printer, which I ordered from More Computers, yesterday. I got a Epson Stylus Photo PX700W, which cost £135.99. Which may sound a lot, for a photo printer. But it's also a network printer, which you can print to via Ethernet or WiFi. It's also a scanner and much more. So far, I am very, very pleased with it.
