Alex is the person that I have been speaking to for the longest on the net. One day not long after, setting up this homepage, I checked my email, to find the longest email I had ever seen. At first we just sent emails to each other, because back then I did not have ICQ. I just wish I still had copies of them.

Since then I have only got to meet up with him twice. Once in August 2000. And also in 2003, when David Orange (my boyfriend at the time) and me went to the Gareth Gates and Will Young concert in Newcastle.

I have known Jamie the longest, we both went to Killearn Primary School with each other. Then we went to Balfron High School together. We were in most of the same classes in First and Second year. In Third and Fourth year we did a number of the same classes, but for the life of me, I can’t now remember which ones.

We both came out at much the same time. If it had not been for him and this brother John, who is also gay, it would have taken me a lot longer to come out.

We’re still great friends to this day, we make sure that we meet up whenever I am up in Glasgow seeing my family.

He found me via my David Beckham website. He then added me to this AIM user list. Since then we have been speaking to each other on the net, for hours at a time, more or less everyday.

He loves Sophie Ellis - Bextor and of course David Beckham. Thank god for David or we would have not have got speaking to each other. I just wish that he did not stay so far away. Because we got on so well. I feel like I have known him for years, because we can tell each other more or less anything. Oh and he is really fit which also helps.

I can't believe just how long I have known Lhyam for. I have been speaking to him since we was 14. He is now 18, which makes me feel very old indeed. I remember when he first started to speak, he was always going, on and on about this website. Even when he was 14, he could do better website's then me.

But in all the time that I have known him, I have ever heard this voice or meet him. But I am going to make sure that I change that this year.

I first met Margaret when I was at Stow college doing an NC in Computing. She was also dong the same course. We started speaking to each other in the first number of weeks, of being at Stow College.

She was one of the first people at college that I told that I was gay. She did not care at all and has helped me a lot over the years.

We lost touch for while, but then one day she phoned me up and told me that she had moved down to Peterborough. I met up with her and since then we speak all the time. I just wish that I could get to meet up with her more often.

I got speaking to Matthew via gaydar of all places. Which I find very funny, because I can't stand that website. But it can't be so bad after all.

I have only known him for a short time, but I can tell that we're both going to be great friends. We have so much in common. He likes Neighbours so I could tell from day one that we were going to get on great!!

He thinks that my "Scottish accent is unreal" that's a quote from his website BTW. So I did not make that one up. But you have no why of doubling checking now, since his website is no longer on-line.

I first met Rob in Delmonica's, on New Year's Eve. He came over to me and said: "Are you Gordon Valentine?" Lucky not many people say it to me. If they did, I think I would have to stop going out on the scene in Glasgow. He is now a good friend of mine.

I don't get to see him that often with him living in the USA. He does like to come over to this country as often as he can. So when it all goes to plan we great to meet up with each other.
